OVERVIEW
Harlow Residences started as a brownfield plot with outline planning permission and no design. The client — a regional property developer — appointed us to take the project from concept through to completion under a single design-and-build contract, removing the coordination risk that had derailed their previous scheme with a separate architect and contractor. Our architecture team developed the full planning application, managing the local authority relationship and achieving consent in one round with no material amendments. Construction followed immediately after approval. The 14 units — a mix of two and three-bedroom apartments with private external amenity space — were completed within programme and have since sold out. The development achieved an EPC rating of B across all units.
